If you would like to find out what bowling is all about, or

if you feel you might benefit from some gentle exercise, or

perhaps you would like to have some fun with new friends.

If so, then come along to the bowling green, off Buryfields in Odiham,  on Tuesday or Friday afternoons at 2.00pm. 

 

No previous experience is necessary.  We will provide the bowls and shoes and our members will be on hand to give you some coaching on how to play the game. Refreshments will also be available.

The finals of the 2013 Club Competitions were held over the weekend of the 7th and 8th September

Winners of the Ken Britton Cup

 

Odiham & North Warnborough were victorious in the Farnham & District League's 2013 Competition Finals held at the Farnham BC ground at Bear Lane over the weekend of Saturday 31 August and Sunday 1 September.  The match was played late in the afternoon on the Sunday and the team, consisting of Bryn and Eileen Whyborn, Ray Clinker, John May, Dave and Margaret Woodage, lifted the Ken Britton Cup by beating old rivals Rowledge BC.

 

Odiham & North Warnborough BC win promotion in the Aldershot & District League

 

Our team finished the 2013 season as Champions of the Aldershot and District League's 2nd Division.  The team gained 49.5 points in the season having won 11 of their 14 league games, thereby earning themselves immediate promotion back to Division 1 for the 2014 season..

The 'D' Team wins the Stan Hardman Trophy again

 

Following on from their triumph in 2009, Odiham's 'D' team won the Stan Hardman Trophy again in 2010, beating the team from Howard Park Bowling Club at the Old Basing ground on 26 August 2010.  For further details see the link on this page.

 

Special Year for the Club

 

In 2010 the Club celebrated the 25th Anniversary of its foundation. The construction of the green commenced in 1989 and was  ready for playing on in May 1990 with the brick-built pavilion being completed the following year and officially opened in May 1991.  A brief history of the club can be found on the History page.

 

Spider helps local hospital
 

On 15 December 2010 members of the club gathered at the clubhouse for a special presentation made to representatives of the Odiham Cottage Hospital. See separate story on this page.
