Stan Hardman Trophy Winners
2010
Following on from last years success, the 'D' Team were again victorious, collecting the Trophy for the second year running.
Having beaten Alton Social in the semi-final they were up against Howard Park in the Final, which this year (2010) was held at the Old Basing club's ground. Special mention for Ann May's team, who were 1-12 down on the 7th end but took the game to the wire and finished the 18th end 14-15.
Of the nine games played in the final three stages: the Quarter-finals, Semi-finals and the Final, the 'D' Team only lost one game securing 188 shots for and 114 against.

2009
Our 'D' Team, winners of their Division in the Stan Hardman League, also claimed the Stan Hardman Trophy this year (2009) with a comfortable 66-30 victory over Four Marks.
The final took place at Hook Bowling Club and we got off to a cracking start, leading 19-2 after just three ends. Another three ends saw us extend our lead to 27-7 and held a commanding 44-22 lead at the tea break, before eventually winning 66-30.
